September's Weather was Fairly Average for the Month
10/10/10What can I say about September's weather? Well looking at the data tells me that it was a month of fairly average conditions for early autumn in my part of Norfolk. Daytime temperatures for the month averaged out at 18.2 C. which is only 0.3 degrees below the 30-year norm for the area. The nightime average was 11.7 C., which is 2 degees above average, but this is a continuing trend as climate change exerts it's influence. Rainfall was almost average at 63.1mm, which is only 4mm above average. and it rained on 14 days of the month, and that is exactly the average for September. The best of any prolonged sunshine occurred during the first week and the warmest day was 22nd at 23.2C. From then onwards it became wet and unsettled until the month came to an end.
